A period worm re-location has begun. When my hotbin composter gets to a high temperature, the worms come to the top to try to escape the heat. Instead of leaving them there to die, I relocate them in parts of my garden. Now they can live and enrich the soil in my garden.

And you can more easily prepare them to suit the needs of your guests. Pistachios were sprinkled on top of most but extra chocolate bits were substituted for the person who has a nut allergy.

The last of my own-grown chicory was cooked yesterday evening. I made it with garlic, golden sultanas, pine nuts and capers. It looked lovely next to venere rice and salmon. And tasted as good!
