Families are built in so many different ways, but every single one deserves celebrating 🤍

Today is International Day of Families and I honestly just wanted to say thank you to ours.

Thank you for filling this space with warmth, conversation, chaos, patience, friendship and kindness. Thank you for showing up for one another. Thank you for making this little play café feel like a community instead of just a venue.

Watching children grow in confidence while parents grow friendships alongside them is something I’ll never take for granted.

Whether you come every week, pop in occasionally, travel across London, or found us completely by accident — we’re so glad you’re here 🤍

Join us on Saturday 23rd May for a special weekend pop-up at Pint-Sized Playhouse, and every child entry will include a free babyccino on us 🤍

Expect good coffee, happy children, friendly faces and all the cosy community vibes we love so much.

We’re so excited to be teaming up with Eco7 for a community litter pick as part of The Great Big Green Week 🌍💚

Because it’s after school, we’d love to get the children involved too! It’s such a lovely chance for little ones to help care for their local area, spend time outdoors and feel part of something positive.

After the litter pick, Pint-Sized Playhouse will be setting up some fun, free activities for the children, so bring a picnic to share and stay a while. Come and meet new people, make new friends and help keep Wanstead Flats beautiful for everyone.

📍 Meet from 3:30pm at Capel Road Changing Rooms, Wanstead Flats

Mini Disco Fridays at Pint-Sized Playhouse are becoming something really special.

Every Friday from 5–7pm our little railway arch turns into a family disco full of bubbles, dancing, good music, glowing tables, party lights and genuinely lovely people.

The children make friends.
The grown-ups actually get to relax.
And somehow it ends up feeling like the best kind of community night out ❤️

We’re investing even more into the atmosphere too…
🫧 new bubble machine
💨 smoke machine
✨ upgraded lighting
🎶 bigger party vibes
🍷 drinks, food & treats for everyone

Whether your little one wants to dance non-stop, shyly watch from the side, or just wave a glow stick around while you chat to other parents, everyone is welcome here.

And yes… it's completely FREE and you can request the songs too! 🎵

This afternoon, we swapped soft play and matcha for litter pickers and spent some time helping to tidy up our local area.

The children loved feeling “grown up” and taking care of the world around them, proving that even the smallest people can make a big difference.

I feel strongly that it's really important to raise kind, curious little humans who feel connected to their community 🌍

Something a little different for us… 👀

On Saturday 13th June we’ve got Chlo’s Kitchen taking over the café with proper home cooked Caribbean food 🍛🔥

Play café will be open as from 10, with food served from 11. It’s £5 per child to play and adults are free.

No regular menu this day as Chlo will be cooking up a feast for everyone to enjoy 💛

Expect reggae tunes, good vibes and hopefully a bit of sunshine ☀️

No booking needed, just pop in whenever it suits you.
