We're looking for an experienced barista to join our team!

The role would suit someone with flexibility to cover shifts on a short-term basis from May - August, with the possibility of it turning into a permanent part-time position.

Want to join The Wren team?

We’re looking for 2 x part-time baristas to start at The Wren within the next few weeks. They will each be between 10-15 hours a week, over 2 days (Mon - Fri). It would be helpful if staff also have flexibility to cover holiday / sick leave.

There will be an abundance of cover required over the summer in July and August, which could either be a temporary increase in hours as part of the part-time role, or could be a separate short-term summer contract if the permanent part-time position doesn't suit you.

We're really excited to see lots of our regular customers returning to the City again. It's almost starting to feel like normal!

As such, from Monday, we'll be returning to our normal opening hours: 7.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

As always, we will continue to close from 12.45 to 2.00pm on Thursdays for The St Nick's Talks. Wren customers are always welcome to join!

A new thing to note - for the time being we will be serving takeaway only on Thursday afternoons and Fridays. We'll keep this under review so do let us know if you're likely to be in the office - we suspect many might still wfh at the end of the week.

We are looking for two baristas to join our close-knit team at The Wren coffee shop. Situated inside St Nicholas Cole Abbey, The Wren seeks to serve the City with excellent coffee whilst partnering with the gospel work of St Nick’s Church.
