Bell & Claw proud to support Saffron Walden Community YSC
Sunday was something of a red letter day as we had all four of our Eastern Junior Alliance teams in action - and all four teams posted great wins! 👏👏👏
Our U13 team (pictured) faced a tricky away match against our neighbours Bishop’s Stortford Community FC, and came home with the points after a hard fought 3-0 win, continuing their great start to the season ⚽️.
The U14 side faced up against Woodbridge Town at Saffron Walden County High School in a Treasurers Cup 🏆 match. With the teams locked at 1-1, this tight game needed extra time before the Walden boys settled it with a 2-1 win ⚽️.
Meanwhile, our U15 team battled against St Neots Town at Lime Avenue Playing Fields, and they took their chances well to eventually run out 4-1 winners ⚽️.
Finally, also at SWCHS on our 3G pitch, our U18s followed up their excellent midweek win with a thumping 7-1 victory against Royston Town, which saw them move to third in the league table ⚽️.
This level of football is the pinnacle for a grassroots club like ours, and to claim four wins from four is no mean feat. We’ll post a goal montage 🎥 🍿 later in the week!
