Welcome back to Episode 04 of ‘Around the World in 80 meals… right here in London’.

Today we’re heading to Lebanon. There are so many amazing Lebanese restaurants in London, but one of my absolute favourites is Maroush, tucked away in St. John’s Wood. I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Maroush is warm, it’s elegant, it’s inviting but the food is truly the star of the show.

Here’s everything we ate: The Hommos with lamb shawarma to start the meal, and a great selection of hot Mezze dishes like the pumpkin kibbeh and chicken liver.
My favourite was the soujok, Lebanese spicy sausages in a deliciously tangy sauce.

Our hearty homemade lentil soup, rich with warming spices and comfort in every spoonful. 🍂🥣 Perfect for a rainy day.
