At sketch, Jonathan Baldock’s The Gathering continues that conversation in the Gallery. Installed within India Mahdavi’s iconic yellow room, the work unfolds around the space in a rhythmic procession of forms, extending its sensorial and emotional atmosphere while inviting reflection, connection, and exchange.

Football fever has arrived at Sketch ⚽️

Now on display at Sketch: A Beautiful Game by Julian Carter Studio ⚽️

Discover “A Beautiful Game”, a striking 4-metre-wide textile installation by artist Julian Carter Studio , now on display in our entrance. Crafted from layered fabrics, embroidery and textures, the artwork celebrates football’s remarkable ability to bring people together across nations, cultures and communities.

Inspired by the FIFA World Cup, the piece honours the tournament’s three host nations and all 48 qualified teams through a vibrant collage of flags, maps, languages and motifs.

The celebration continues in the Parlour, where selected fixtures will be screened throughout the tournament, including England and France matches, as well as the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
