Microwaved prosciutto. Game changed ๐
Hot Honey Prosciutto & Mozzarella Salad With Garlic Croutons ๐
8ml Sriracha hot chilli sauce
52g Sliced prosciutto
1 Ciabatta
80g Roasted red peppers
2 Garlic cloves, peeled
50g Baby leaf salad
125g Mozzarella, drain & tear into bite-sized pieces
1 Gem lettuce, roughly shred
15ml Balsamic vinegar
25g Honey
Add your sliced prosciutto to a plate and put in the microwave for 4-5 min, then set aside until serving to dry and crisp up โ this is your crispy prosciutto
Tip: Check your sliced prosciutto every 30 secs to prevent it from burning, as microwave temperatures vary!
Combine your balsamic vinegar with a generous drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of pepper in a large bowl โ this is your dressing
Drain your roasted red peppers
Add the drained roasted red peppers, torn mozzarella, salad and shredded lettuce to the bowl and toss โ this is your dressed salad
Slice your ciabatta in half and place in the toaster for 1-2 min or until warmed through
Rub the toasted ciabatta halves with the peeled garlic
Cut the garlicky ciabatta into small bite-size pieces - these are your garlicky croutons
Combine your honey and sriracha in a small bowl โ this is your hot honey
Serve the dressed salad and top with the garlicky croutons
Crumble over the crispy prosciutto and drizzle with the hot honey
Finish with a generous grind of pepper
