As wedding season comes to an end, we’ve been reminiscing about Derek & Ciro’s big day✨

Guests were welcomed with grazing pots of Provençal chicken skewers, cheese, olives, pretzels & berries 🫒🥨

An Italian sharing platter was served for starter - a necessity for the groom, celebrating his Italian heritage. The evening continued with a sharing main & mini desserts, before a late-night grazing board of charcuterie, selection of cheeses, fresh fruit, crudités & crackers 🇮🇹🧀

And to finish it all off, a beautiful wedding cake by Easy Gourmet 🎂

🍰📮 The Jolly Postman and the Slice of Cake 📮🍰

One of our favourite moments from this Postal Museum event was bringing The Jolly Postman and the Slice of Cake to life through an immersive dessert experience.

Inspired by the story's warm invitation to share a slice of cake, we transformed vintage tables into fully edible gardens, where guests discovered hidden sweet treats amongst edible soil, moss, delicate flowers and rustic styling.

Every detail was carefully designed to create a sense of wonder and nostalgia, turning dessert into part of the story rather than simply the final course.

From concept development to ex*****on, seeing this whimsical vision come to life was incredibly rewarding. A perfect example of how food, design and storytelling can work together to create unforgettable moments.

📮✨ Delivering a Storybook Experience at The Postal Museum ✨📮
We were incredibly proud to bring The Jolly Postman to life for a 200-guest stakeholder event at The Postal Museum.
From the very first concept sketch to the final dessert display, every detail was designed to immerse guests in the beloved story. Our team transformed the venue into a journey of special deliveries, with waiters dressed as postmen, story-led food presentations served in envelopes and greaseproof paper, and interactive food stations inspired by the characters and locations from the book.
Guests explored:
📬 Cinderella’s Palace Bar
📬 Story-inspired canapés and roaming culinary “deliveries”
📬 Little Red Riding Hood-inspired brioche sandwiches
📬 The Giant’s Castle comfort-food bites
📬 The Gingerbread Cottage creations
📬 The Three Bears Tea House dessert experience
Creating memorable events is all about storytelling, and this project allowed us to combine creativity, hospitality and theatre into one unforgettable experience.
