The Gate brings a range of creative healthy vegetarian and vegan dishes to Islington & Hammersmith. All of our dishes are healthy, produced using carefully sourced ingredients. We have been doing this for over 30 years now.

Our new menu has been months in the making, and on 20th October you’ll see why. We’re keeping a little back for now, but come hungry. Bring someone who’ll let you try theirs.

Our annual Wild Mushroom Fest returns this October 🍄‍🟫

Join us at The Gate Hammersmith for a five-course celebration of wild and seasonal mushrooms, bringing together rich autumn flavours and imaginative plant-based cooking.

The menu includes:

🍄‍🟫Wild mushroom cappuccino with crème foam and cep powder
🍄‍🟫 Oyster mushroom parfait with pickled shimeji mushrooms
🍄‍🟫 Mango and smoked woodland mushroom salad
🍄‍🟫 Layered potato with mushroom duxelles, sautéed girolles, trumpet and hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, finished with a red w**e mushroom reduction
🍄‍🟫 Chocolate torte with chocolate and cep soil, candied trumpet mushrooms, toasted hazelnuts and homemade crème fraîche

Five courses | £59 per person
