One month already... ☀️

It's hard to believe it's only been a month since we opened our doors.

Over the past few weeks, we've had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, learning your favourite orders and becoming part of your daily routines. Thank you for every coffee, every conversation and every word of encouragement.

We hope you've enjoyed our specialty coffee, freshly pastries, sandwiches, matcha and everything else we've been serving with love.

This is just the beginning. We're listening to your feedback every day, and we're already working on expanding our menu with even more delicious options for you to enjoy.

Week Two at EARLY BIRD ☀️

It's hard to believe we're already into our second week.

One thing has become very clear: Newington Green really missed having a community café in the park. From our very first day, we've been welcomed with kindness, encouragement and so many lovely conversations.

We've met dog walkers, families, neighbours, remote workers, regular coffee drinkers and people who have been visiting this park for years. Hearing your stories, feedback and memories has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

EARLY BIRD was always meant to be more than just a place to grab a coffee. We wanted to create a welcoming space for the community, and thanks to all of you, that's already starting to happen.

Thank you for supporting us, sharing your feedback and making us feel at home.

A little update from Newington Green ☀️

The new EARLY BIRD sign is officially up — and seeing it outside the kiosk makes everything feel very real now.

After weeks of renovating, painting, building and coffee testing, we’re finally getting close.

Good coffee, matcha, smoothies, breakfast and a warm little corner in the park… coming very soon.

Soft opening starts June 12 👀

8 days to go ☕️

Our La Marzocco machine is finally in place — and honestly, seeing the first coffees being poured inside the kiosk made everything feel real for the first time.

Huge thanks to .coffee ATB and for helping us install, test and dial in our first house coffee: ATB 01

There’s still plenty happening behind the scenes, but step by step EARLY BIRD is coming to life.

Installed. Tested. Almost ready ☕️

This week we teamed up with our coffee supplier ATB to install our La Marzocco machine and test our first house coffee — ATB 01.

A huge thanks to for helping us transform the inside of the kiosk and bringing the space to life behind the scenes.

Big thanks as well to and .coffee for the machine installation, setup and coffee training.

And special thanks to Henry, Alice, Enzo, Tim and the whole team for all the support, hard work and good energy throughout the process 🤍

Slowly but surely, it’s all coming together.
