Tropicore 🥭🍹🌴

A coffee so tropical, we had to make up a word for it 😅

At its core is a castillo from Edinson Argote’s farm, Quebraditas, where a carefully controlled 60-hour fermentation with a specially selected yeast brings out an intense expression of tropical fruit.

We’ve paired it with a washed lot from Mustefa Abakeno’s Beshasha washing station in Jimma, Ethiopia, bringing lively acidity and balance to the cup.

The result? A vibrant, tropical juice box in a cup 🧃

Carnival Punch 🥥🍍🍓

To celebrate 60 years of Notting Hill Carnival, we’ve made something a little tropical for the weekend 🌴

A red honey Ethiopian cold brew, tasting of strawberry, peach and pineapple, topped with coconut + pineapple cold foam and finished with a shower of toasted coconut flakes.

Swing by on your way to Carnival for a little pre-party pep-me-up, or pop in any time over the weekend and bring the Carnival spirit to Cally Road.

Bright, juicy, tropical and made for a long Carnival weekend.

Conscious crew, summer ’26 ☀️

It’s been a wild year so far — the shop opening, record numbers across the board, and our team doubling in size — so we thought it was about time we introduced you to the crew 💯

From right to left:

Daniel — production assistant and resident coffee encyclopedia. On hand to keep the roasting and packing moving, and the one who nails the fun tasting notes.

Fiona — senior barista and shop OG. She’s across every coffee, every drink, every regular, and brings the dry humour we all live for.

Harry — our shop manager wizard. Years of coffee experience down under, now back on home turf, keeping the shop running smoothly and somehow knowing how to say “thank you” in every language we can think of.

Culainn — founder of Conscious, building our first producer relationships and working out how to get their coffee into the UK. The one designing (and fine-tuning) every roast profile. Roastery hiccup, shop hiccup, customer hiccup — the guy who sorts it. Went from roasting solo to running the show with Lea, and I could not be more hyped to finally have a growing team 💯

Ryan — production roaster, operations manager and official Welwyn Garden City rep. He’s the guy making sure every order is roasted with TLC and out the door on time.

Lea — queen of holding it all together. Green coffee, client relationships and finance — basically everything that makes us a legit business 😅. Currently also growing another tiny member of the Conscious crew, due any day now 👀

3 months! Thanks so much to everyone who’s come by, to our brilliant baristas, and to the friends who’ve jumped behind the bar when we needed them.

The coffee menu has been growing. The ideas are stacking up. And with summer on the way, we’ve got some fun brews in the works that we can’t wait to start serving.

Catch us at this Friday 15 May — we’ll be on the stand (Stand HP22 on the first floor, Hyde Park area!) serving up a couple of cool, refreshing drinks all day long.

We know how long and hot and chatty the festival gets, so we’ve designed two proper thirst quenchers to keep the energy up: a blood orange cold brew and a cherry vanilla espresso on ice, both with plenty of oat milk cold foam. 🍒🍊

We’ll be pouring all day — come grab a drink and say hi, we’d love to see you there 💛
