Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting the wedding of Helen & Craig,the new Mr & Mrs Evans 31-07-2026 💍🤍

The room looked absolutely stunning, beautifully dressed in sage green with elegant white roses, creating the perfect setting for their special day.

Guests enjoyed a delicious summer wedding meal of sliced beef and ham, served with a fresh seasonal salad, homemade coleslaw and hot new potatoes,with a selection of desserts & fresh cream to finish.
There were plenty of drinks, laughter and dancing to celebrate into the evening.

Congratulations once again to Mr & Mrs Evans! Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness and wonderful memories together. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your special day.

A little update....

Over the next few days, you'll notice a price increase in all our draught & bottle/can products with a menu change/price increase following in the coming weeks.🍺🍽

Unfortunately, this isn't a decision I've taken lightly. Our breweries have increased their prices, and wholesale food costs continue to rise and rise along with utilities and overheads meaning we have no choice but to adjust our prices to help keep the business running and keep our beautiful Brynffynon open for you all to enjoy.🙏

The pub industry is very difficult to run this day and age and this past year since having the Brynffynon back has tought me how much everything has changed and how much everything costs to run this building and keep the business open..its absolutely crazy!!

We still remain committed to serving great quality food and drink, along with the friendly service you know and love from my wonderful team.We truly appreciate your continued support and understanding – it means the world to us, especially as a small independent family run business.💚

🎉🍻 Good news – we're open today! 🍻🎉

The temperature in the cellar is coming down nicely and will continue to cool throughout the day. Even better, all of our fridges are back up and running too! 🙌

We do have limited stock until our delivery arrives from LWC Glamorgan early this afternoon, but we're open and ready to welcome you.

Open from 12 midday and food being served until 8pm this evening..pop up and enjoy the sunshine with us this weekend 🌞🍻

Thank you all for your patience and support over the last few days – we really appreciate it and can't wait to see you all.

Unfortunately, we're still unable to open today as we're still waiting for an engineer. (I think most pubs in wales got affected with the heat and we are hoping its our turn next)🙏

With our cellar cooler still down and three fridges out of action, we're unable to serve draught drinks, sell bottled drinks, or take in food deliveries until everything is repaired.😢

We're really sorry for the inconvenience and thank you all for your patience and support. We'll update you as soon as we're back up and running..💚

Lets hope the weekend is looking more positive pray for me..

⭐️CUSTOMER NOTICE ⭐️

Unfortunately, we will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 1st July) due to unexpected equipment issues.😢

Our cellar cooler has broken down, which means we're unable to serve any draught beers, and our bar fridge has also stopped working!
(One day ill get a break) 🙈

We're really sorry for the inconvenience and are doing everything we can to get the problems fixed as quickly as possible. We'll keep you updated and let you know as soon as we're able to reopen.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. We hope to be back serving you very soon.
