Celebrating the creativity of women in food 👩‍🍳

In celebration of International Women’s Day coming up on 8 March, The Base kitchen team shone the spotlight on inspiring women chefs by recreating a selection of their recipes.

On the menu was a delicious garlic and fennel chicken from 's cookbook 'My Favourite Ingredients', served alongside 's vibrant stir-fried broccoli from the cookbook 'Cook Share Eat Vegan'.

The response? A complete sell-out! 🌟

The Base café Wrapped 2024 had just dropped ☕

This year has been our busiest yet – and the numbers speak for themselves!

☕ We saw some serious caffeine action over the past 11 months: we served 21,221 hot drinks, with the frothy favourite latte dominating the chart with 9,319 cups
🥛 When it came to alternative milks, oat milk was the standout choice, requested an impressive 1,326 times
🌯 Sandwiches were a hit all year long! Our Cajun chicken wrap was purchased 436 times, followed by the classic chicken Caesar wrap and tuna melt panini

Starting this week, we’re excited to bring you a range of yummy festive dishes to get you in the holiday spirit – including our limited edition Smoked Salmon with Bloody Mary Tomatoes on Sourdough Toast breakfast!
