From the latest blockbusters and classic films to opera and ballet, not forgetting the legendary Compton organ in Screen One!

But they aren’t just dedicated to preserving film history; they’re also looking to the future. We are proud to partner with Kinema in the Woods through our Coffee Bucket Scheme! ♻️☕

By swapping single-use bags and cardboard boxes for our reusable, heavy-duty coffee buckets, we’re helping them cut down on waste. We sync up deliveries with our existing local routes to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.

Stokes is hiring 📣 Join an iconic Lincolnshire coffee brand ☕️

Join our small team of skilled coffee service engineers and play a key role in keeping exceptional coffee flowing. Do you love solving problems, working with your hands, and getting machines back to their best?

Primarily workshop-based, your work will be a mix of:
✅ Planned, preventative servicing (annual maintenance and inspections)
✅ Reactive repairs and fault-finding

You’ll approach every job with a focus on minimising waste and reducing unnecessary parts usage, aligned with our B Corp values.

If you’re technically minded, enjoy working through faults with a logical, methodical approach and have a strong work ethic, this could be the perfect role for you.

“The first time I tried La Roca I understood what specialty coffee could be. It was my first real experience with a natural processed coffee, and the depth and complexity of flavour on offer blew me away.

I think it works best with a metal filter when brewed, something like a cafetiere (approx. 20g), the extra body really highlights the bolder flavours. If you can do an Espresso at home I’d highly recommend it (approx. 16g), La Roca really benefits from higher strength brews, so don’t be shy with your dose!”

It’s not a reinvention—we’re still the same Stokes you know and love—but a fresh look to carry us into the future. It’s our way of honouring our heritage while staying forward-thinking, sustainable, and ready for the next generation.

To stay true to our values and avoid waste, you’ll see a mix of our old and new branding for a little while. We’re using up every bit of our existing packaging and even repurposing our current signage into the new look ♻️

What happens when you choose Stokes as your coffee supplier?

Our Account Manager, Rianna, goes through the process of how to pick your coffee.

☕️ Firstly, we’ll welcome you into our Showroom at Stokes HQ

☕️ We start by discussing your setup, including your machine, your space, and your vision

☕️ Then we taste our way through a few of our coffees, tasting them black to catch the notes and with milk to see how they shine in a milky drink

☕️ You select your favourite that fits in with your brand and vision

☕️ Want your own name on the bag? We discuss white-label options for your retail shelves and display

☕️ We’ll then organise a time for one of the team to come and set up- whether that’s supplying and installing your machine, or just showing you how to set up your beans

☕️ We’ll also organise Barista training for your staff, either here at Stokes HQ, or we can come to you!

☕️ Full ongoing support - Enjoy peace of mind with our reliable equipment servicing and repairs

This March is B Corp Month, so we thought we’d spotlight how we’re improving efficiencies within our roastery to better serve both our customers and the planet.

We are currently reviewing our roast profiles to ensure we are operating as sustainably as possible. By using the precision of our Loring Smart Roaster, we are making small but impactful adjustments to our processes:

✅ Refining temperatures: We are actively adjusting our end temperatures (dropping a few degrees for certain profiles) to create a smoother, more consistent finish.

✅ Energy efficiency: These shorter profile run times allow us to reduce our weekly gas usage, saving approximately 30 minutes of roasting time every week.

✅ Flexibility: Refining these profiles helps us navigate an increasingly complex global coffee market while maintaining the high quality you expect from us.

By focusing on these technical details, we’re ensuring that every batch roasted in our Loring is as eco-friendly and precise as possible.
