Hello to you all, I’m ready to join you back on the park this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Energy levels are topped up, Covid-free, deep clean of everything done, disposal of stock for new so I’m good to go.

Normal opening and closing hours are 9am until 3pm.

Covid is kicking my backside, taken two more tests and both showing strong positives not that I needed to as the symptoms are clear that I’m beaten.

I’m aiming to be back next Thursday if all is good and will keep you posted.

Grab yourself an ice cream from Massimo, enjoy the park and I will be with you soon.

Tested positive for Covid.

Closed for Thursday and Friday this week, felt great at the weekend then Sunday night was not good. Thinking I just need to hydrate, rest after what was a busy few days on the park yet the morning wasn’t better. This is not normal for me, maybe another cold from my little girl but I took a test and the results were positive.

Not wanting to spread this, i am closed until I’m clear and some negative tests taken to be sure before I return.

Love being here on the park for you, it’s always hard to post a closed sign, I’m sure you’ll understand.

News! Having a little break.

I will not be on the park this Thursday 8th and Friday 9th October. I’m going to be back making you coffee as normal on the Saturday 10th.

Hey everyone, below is a message from Louise who has organised this walk on our park this coming Thursday. Aim is to encourage you to come for a walk on our beautiful Knighton Park. The choice is yours, stay at home or make the decision to get out in the fresh air, meet people, get a few steps on that wrist watch and enjoy a lovely stroll around the park.

Message from Louise: Hello Folks! I'm starting a weekly wellbeing walk in the park from Thursday, 1st October, 2pm - 3pm.

It will be a gentle walk around the park, so it's suitable for everyone. We will start and finish at Scruffythomas, so you can buy a hot drink if you would like. Message me if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing you on Thursday, 1st October. Any doggies with you must be kept on leads and children are supervised.

Where are you on the days you’re not on Knighton Park Scruffy ? This is a question I have a lot, the answer is I have daddy/daughter days which means we find a playground or walk plus check out an independent coffee place.

Known about Mason for a few years now, enjoyed coffees from him at fates/events yet not visited his main residence at Fosse Meadows Country Park, until today here’s the postcode for you LE103AB.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time, following the lovely warm welcome, good conversation, snacks and a great flat white from Mason we sat nearby watching doggies, gave one excited dog a treat before playing on the slide, swing and zip line.

What a beautiful place for a walk, free parking (well done council), everyone was happy to talk and a friendly atmosphere. If you have not already been over the fosse meadows and had a chance to grab a coffee from Mason I would suggest getting over there when you can. (Two car parks to choose from)

I feel like Autumn is upon us, a drizzly start this morning followed by a clear sky and the breeze giving the park a carpet of leaves.

It’s 3pm which means it’s time I cleaned up inside the horse box, prep for tomorrow and pack my benches away.

Scruffy is living the dream, with the park falling quiet after a slow day, the wildlife shows up to enjoy my chilled music. Funny watching the magpies drinking from the doggie bowl.

What a lovely little gem hidden away in Blaby . Just the shortest of walks from the main road, this beautiful community coffee location is a great place to visit if you are anywhere near, so enjoy the relaxing vibes, coffee, cakes and sausage rolls. Service is wonderful, friendly so grab a seat, take a moment and listen to nature.
