The 'hands-on' Indian cookery classes are much loved by complete beginners as well as competent cooks.The 3hr long classes end with a lovely lunch. Hansa's style of cooking has won her many awards over the years on regular basis. The menu caters for vegans and people with other dietary requirements as well. Even ardent carnivores frequent this iconic restaurant regularly, which goes to prove that

'there is life beyond meat!' Tt is also very popular for parties and group meals and there is Live Music played on midweek evenings by local budding artists. Chef Hansa has written and self-published two cookbooks which shares the most popular recipes enjoyed by her customers at her restaurant. She regularly conducts cookery demonstrations to encourage others to gain confidence in being able to cook tasty vegetarian meals from her two cookbooks. The wine list contains mainly organic wines as well as Indian bottled beers at this licensed premises. The restaurant opens for Sunday buffet lunch which is very popular with families.
