The Yummy Yank Baker of all kinds of American desserts from Red Velvet Cake to New York Cheesecake to Pecan Pie bars and anything you can imagine! I am not a cake decorator!

I am an American living in the UK since 1997. I am passionate about many things, but have taken my passion of food from a hobby to a profession 16 years ago. The Yummy Yank is my business dedicated to the baking of homemade American desserts, doing festivals (when able) up and down the country. Happy 4th of July from this Yankee Doodle Dandy in the UK!

See you all tomorrow for the last day of GWCT Scottish Game Fair VISIT SCONE PALACE, Perth Scotland from 9-5. You’ll find us in the food hall! And flavoursofyorkshire1 from 10-4 at Galtres Park (formerly Pickering Showground) in Pickering, North Yorkshire.

Our bakes are like fireworks (an explosion) of flavours in your mouth.

About Flavours of Yorkshire

Flavours of Yorkshire is more than just another food festival! It’s a free-to-enter, family-friendly, fun day-out, combining the best of Yorkshire’s artisan food & drink producers, a cosmopolitan street food court featuring cuisine’s from around the globe, a professional BBQ competition, a showcase for a range of electric vehicles, a funfair with inflatables and soft play area, live music and a cooking demo theatre headlined by North Yorkshire’s very own celebrity chef James Martin.
But’s that not all…
There’s live music, plus a family funfair and inflatables zone guaranteed to keep children entertained
On ‘Electric Avenue’, you can explore next-gen electric cars and bikes, with a showcase of familiar models as well as new-to-the-UK manufacturers for anyone considering the switch to electric.
You won’t even miss the British Grand Prix – it’ll be shown on the big screen in the bar area!
Admission to the festival is FREE, with free car and coach parking on-site to keep the cost to visitors low.
Tickets must be booked in advance for James Martin’s demos on Saturday 4 July, and Sunday’s demos are free of charge.
