Our menus are always evolving, bringing new flavours and seasonal inspiration to the table.

Dish spotlight: Kopra Chemmeen - king prawns in a rich homemade sauce of coconut, ginger, garlic, cocum and tomato. Fragrant, comforting and full of the bold Kerala flavours we love. 🦐🥥 A new favourite in the making.

Congratulations, Kuldeep. What a moment. What a journey.

Some performances are remembered for the numbers. Others mean so much more because you know a little of the journey behind them.

4/70. 6/50. 10 wickets. Career-best first-class figures. A truly special performance from Kuldeep Yadav, helping Yorkshire to a massive victory over Essex at Headingley.

But for all of us at UYARE and Tharavadu, this one feels a little more personal.

Kuldeep, thank you for sharing such a special time with us at UYARE Leeds. Sitting together, listening to you speak about your journey, the struggles, the waiting, the difficult moments and the determination it has taken to keep believing made us appreciate this achievement even more.

And hearing about your special relationship with our own Chettan Sanju V Samson , a friendship that goes back to your younger days, made the evening even more memorable. Cricket creates teammates and opponents, but away from the field it also creates friendships and relationships that last a lifetime.

Then, to see you walk onto the field and produce your career-best performance just makes us incredibly happy and proud.

Success always looks beautiful from the outside. Very few people see the sacrifices, disappointments and countless hours behind it. That is why performances like this are so inspiring.

Kuldeep, you are a true inspiration. Your humility, your friendship and the person you are away from cricket mean just as much to us as what you achieve on the field.

From everyone in the UYARE and Tharavadu family — congratulations on a magnificent 10-wicket haul.

We are grateful for the friendship, proud of your success, and we hope this is only the beginning of many more unforgettable days ahead.

Keep spinning. Keep smiling. Keep inspiring.

With love and respect,
Team UYARE & Team Tharavadu

From Sanju V Samson and Virat Kohli to Kuldeep Yadav and RajKummar Rao — cricket, cinema and Tharavadu have shared some very special moments over the years.

Tharavadu has become a little hub of Indian cricket in England, and it is a relationship that goes right back to our early days in Leeds.

It started with a visit from our own Sanju Samson, followed by Virat Kohli and members of the Indian cricket team. Since then, whenever cricket brings familiar faces to Yorkshire, it always feels special to welcome them through our doors.

Today was another one of those moments.

We were delighted to welcome Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav, currently playing county cricket for Yorkshire, to Tharavadu. And recently, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors, Rajkummar Rao, was also spotted dining with us.

And what did they have in common?

Both became big fans of our Masala Dosa.

For us, these visits are about much more than celebrity photographs. They are another chapter in a relationship between Tharavadu, Indian cricket, Kerala food and the city of Leeds that has grown over many years.

From international cricketers to Bollywood stars, travelling guests to our regular customers, everyone receives the same Tharavadu welcome.

Proud to be Leeds’ original Kerala restaurant since 2014, serving authentic Kerala and South Indian food in Leeds, just moments from Leeds Station.

And yes… if Masala Dosa is good enough for Kuldeep Yadav and Rajkummar Rao, perhaps it is time to find out what all the fuss is about.

Kaappad Mulagu Konju - one of the most popular starters from our new menu 🍤

Tail-on prawns marinated and tossed with chopped carrot, ginger and coconut. This dish pairs beautifully with our Foxwood Dawn Picked Viognier.
