First of all, from all of us at Pizza Addict, we would like to express our sincere thanks, appreciation and respect to everyone who supported us.
A huge thank you to the wonderful people of Jarrow, South Shields, NE32 and the surrounding areas who helped by sharing our post, commenting, sending messages and showing their support.
We would also like to thank everyone who took part in the discussion — whether you agreed with us or had a different opinion. We respect all views and appreciate everyone who took the time to engage with us. ❤️
We would simply like to clarify a few important points.
Firstly, the purpose of our original post was never to insult, embarrass or harm the person involved. Our only intention was to establish contact with him and resolve the outstanding matter respectfully.
Secondly, regarding the phone number that appeared in the original post, it was never included to encourage anyone to contact, harass or embarrass anyone. The number was no longer active or available for normal use.
Thirdly, regarding questions about payment methods: Pizza Addict accepts payments by cash and bank transfer, and we have always provided our business bank details to customers who wish to pay by transfer. The customer involved had already been given our company bank details, so the situation was never simply about whether someone had cash available.
We would also like to kindly ask everyone to keep the discussion respectful. We have seen some people arguing and insulting one another in the comments, and this is something we never wanted.
People are welcome to agree or disagree, but please do not insult or attack each other because of our post. No disagreement is worth people falling out or abusing one another. ❤️
An update on the situation:
Thanks to the incredible support and response from our community, the customer contacted us the day after the original post was published, after becoming aware of it through someone close to him who had seen the post.
He explained that his phone had been stolen while he was at the gym, which he said was the reason he had been unable to contact us for some time. He also explained that he had experienced problems with his bank account, which he said had prevented him from making the bank transfer.
We are pleased to confirm that the full outstanding amount of £70 was paid today, Saturday. ❤️
As promised, the original post will now be removed.
Most importantly, we would like to say once again that without the support of our local community, the shares, comments and messages, we may not have been able to establish contact and resolve this matter so quickly.
This experience has reminded us how fortunate we are to have such a strong and supportive community around us.
