Sun’s out, beer garden’s open, pints are moving, and we’ve got a proper local one on today Brit wildcard Arthur Fery in the Wimbledon semi-final from 1:30pm.

Then it’s football talk, weekend plotting and World Cup prep as England get ready for tomorrow night.

Right, we’ve just about caught up on sleep after Monday… now we go again.

Summer of sport is properly on at The Milford Arms this week.

Wimbledon on from 11am tomorrow.
Cricket England v India at 6:30pm.
World Cup France v Morocco at 9pm.
Then the big World Cup game rolls us straight into the weekend.

11 screens, cold pints, cocktails, burgers, pizzas, pool, darts — and the beer garden is doing exactly what it was built for in this heat.

Start early, stay late, enjoy the sunshine and sport.

Sunday at the Milford.

Roasts on till 5, Wimbledon on the screens, beer garden looking like the place to be, and poker as usual later.

Nice weather, cold pints, a bit of tennis, a proper roast and a few familiar faces, not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

World Cup games are late, so we’ll be building up to them through the evening.

England at 1am is ticket only so ask at the bar and get sorted early to avoid disappointment.

Monday 6th July England are in the Last 16. We’ll be showing it live indoors only due to licensing restrictions.

That means reduced capacity, so this one is pre-booked ticket only.

£10 per person gets you:
🍺 a drink on arrival
🥓 a bacon roll during the game
⚽ proper Milford match atmosphere on the screens

Tickets are available from the bar and will be sold first come, first served.

No ticket = no entry.

World Cup knockouts. Proper pub setting. No sofa excuses.

The Round of 32 is already kicking off! Canada edged South Africa, Brazil got past Japan, Morocco knocked out the Netherlands on pens, and Paraguay sent Germany home after a shootout. It’s officially knockout football now!

World Cup fever is starting to bite… and England are in the thick of it.

Tonight it’s Panama v England on the screens, and the question is simple:
How far are England going this week?

We’ve got the football on, 11 screens, pints pouring, burgers and pizzas flying out, pool and darts ready, and the pub warming up properly.

The legend that is Alan has the week off, so karaoke is taking a breather — but don’t panic, he’s back next week. This weekend, we’re fully embracing the football.

Before Mike headed back to America last week, we had one of those proper Milford Arms moments.

A bit of Piano Man, a bit of harmonica, and the whole pub getting involved.
That is Saturday night karaoke here familiar faces, good songs and no taking yourself too seriously.
