We are celebrating by taking a trip down memory lane!

Then vs Now – Si! Edition ✨

As we continue celebrating , we’re taking a look back at the incredible transformation of our final venue, Si! - The Potting Shed at Si 🪴🧡

Originally operating as a hotel, the building later closed and sadly stood derelict for some time. In 2012, we purchased the property with plans to restore it. However, the building was found to be beyond repair, leading to a complete rebuild.

In 2013, the newly refurbished Si! Café:Restaurant:Bar opened its doors, bringing two stylish restaurants and a contemporary bar to the heart of Irvine.

Fast forward to 2023, and Si! underwent another exciting transformation. Reimagined as The Potting Shed at Si! and The Terrace at Si!, the venue now offers even more for our guests to enjoy.

Today, The Potting Shed at Si serves artisan breakfasts, brunches, afternoon teas and evening meals in a relaxed, welcoming setting, while The upstairs Terrace has become our dedicated events space and home to our ever-popular Boozé Brunch.🥂

Looking back over the past 30 years, we’re incredibly proud to have given this historic building a new lease of life and to see it continue to evolve as part of the SimpsInns family. 😊
