Loving the new mural on our cafe wall 🥰

If you visit the Eastgate Shopping Centre you'll see our latest mural, brought to life by the exceptional talents of Marc at FRESH PAINT.

Thank you to Scott from CRU Hospitality for hosting our latest artwork at Scran Kitchen, and to Ian Bone from Las Plant Hire Ltd for donating a scissor lift to help complete this project.

These murals serve as powerful reminders of the importance of connection and hope which sit right at the heart of what Mikeysline stands for - they encourage conversation, promote the benefits of nuturing the mind with nature and make our support more visible across the generations.

𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗙𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

We’re taking a short break from Scran Cafe for a few months while we make some exciting changes behind the scenes, the kind of changes you simply can’t do with the doors open and the coffee flowing.

The good news is that your daily fix of incredible coffee, delicious cakes and breakfast bites, all served by the same friendly faces you’ve come to adore, is not going anywhere, you’ll find us just around the corner at Scran Kitchen, where we will be opening earlier too! 😍

Massive thank you to everyone who’s supported us through 2025. What an incredible journey it’s been! 💚

We’re already so excited for a refreshed, re-energised 2026 with you all.

🎄 We will be closing early today and will be back open on the 27th. We just wanted to say thank you so much to all our customers who have supported us in this first year. We've had some lovely regulars and it's always great to see new people coming to try us out. We already have plans for next year, with some improvements in the pipeline, so we're excited for you to see what's next.

We're very happy to be selling the Taste of Time cookbook in the cafe. Crrated by the Young Enterprise Team at Inverness Royal Academy, it's a book filled with family favourite recipes and modern twists. It may also make a perfect Christmas gift?
