Its our biggest event in almost a year, with around 3000 people at a 5 day event.

Not quite half way through. Looking forward to a busy 3 days ahead.....

You've not heard from us in such a long time.

We've had a busy family life with school holidays starting, and recovering from the marathon Alness Gala.

But this week we're outside of the Highlands for the first time and we're based at Magnitute in Kinross.

We're here for the full duration of the event. Tell your friends or family that may be going to the event to come and say hello.

When we come back we've got some really exciting news to share with you all......

Over the next couple of weeks, we're having some time off the trailer - still working, but just not with the trailer. We have no set events in Ross shire in the diary.

Next month sees us leaving the Highlands for the first time to an event in Kinross.

The month after, we're scheduled to be in Inverness a couple of times, and also catering without the trailer at an event near Aviemore.

We have lots of gaps in our diary and we'd be delighted to cater for any events, parties or celebrations.

We're also open to any discussions for permanently parking somewhere.

Thank you for inviting us to be part of the event, and thank you to all who came to have your lunch from us. We are truly grateful for each and every order and we hope you enjoyed your Biadh Blasta from us today.

Nice to meet our new friends at Highland Haddy, and meet again with some of the other amazing Ross shire caterers.

The queue was there from 11.30 until 3.30, and we ran out of drinks around 3 o'clock (our card machine also stopped working around then - maybe it's connected 😂)

After a quick clean down, it's time to relax!!! 😄

Open for lunch on Saturday!!!! PLEASE READ

A few people have said they're missing us. We've not been out as much recently for one reason or another....too many to go into on social media.

We had an event booked for this coming weekend, but unfortunately this event has been postponed 🙁

So we've decided to open from the front of our house in Mossfield for lunch time on Saturday. We'll be open from 12pm - 2pm. We can only accept pre orders for this and they'll need to be in by 12pm on Friday (reasons below if your interested*)

Online Ordering through our page is open now!!!

*We know it's a little complicated, but it's the absolute best we can do with out breaking any licencing rules - unfortunately we can't continue to open to the general public from our house without planning permission - but if we know people are coming, then it's a private booking and it's okay - WEIRD!! So no, Mr Postman, we can't serve you unless you tell us you're coming the day before 🤷

Planning permission is required if you operate from the same location for more than 28 days in the year - we have so far operated 8 times from our house location, but apparently it adds up if we haven't moved the vehicle between times.

It's unfortunate red tape like this that is making so many businesses like ours struggle, but we hope your continued support of us and other local business will help us all to thrive.

What a weekend!!!

Whilst thinking about it being 1 year since we had our first opening with the trailer, we turned on the TV to see it clearly means a lot to the entire nation.

There were celebrations up and down the country with people waving the Scottish flags and wearing the Biadh Blasta colours. Some wearing red which is obviously acknowledging that it's only fresh beef we use in our smash burgers.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

Maybe there'll be more celebrations this weekend when we open up for lunch on Saturday - location tbc.

Due to the up and down nature of the hospitality sector, at biadh blasta we're constantly looking at ways to freshen things up.

Most of you know this isn't something that we do full time (although that would be brilliant). But when we go out, we like to make you all the best food we can.

Having 5 kids, we know it's difficult to have the time to make fresh nutritious meals for the family.

So would any of you be interested in mid week meals fully packed with nutrition? A simple service where we make your meal and you simply collect it from the trailer on your way home. Pop it in the oven and think of nothing else other than enjoying it around 45 minutes later.

We'll have trays for 1, 2 or 4 people.
