Interesting article regarding the current pressures chippies are facing due to massive increases in the cost of cod and haddock.

We trialled tilapia last year and that price has remained static.

Is it time for us to bring the tilapia back on the menu?

We are currently trying to ride out this latest increase on haddock in the hopes it will reduce again but realistically we honestly don’t think it will in the short term.

The price of cod has increased by 200 per cent and a chip shop owner warned it could force chippies to close
