Manorview Group We’re an independent Scottish hospitality group with 11 boutique venues.

We’re an independent Scottish hospitality group who is aiming every day to make life better for guests, team and communities. We own and operate 11 hotels, 8 of which are popular and established wedding venues, as well as a spa, health club and local bars and restaurants; and this is where we make memorable moments happen for our fantastic guests! Our registered charity Manorview Foundation sets out to support people experiencing poverty and hardship – and we deliver this through various initiatives including operating a community hub in Coatbridge.

We’re proud to have been reaccredited with the Hospitality Health Wellness Charter, recognising our ongoing commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our team.

From mental health first aiders to wellness and development training, we continue to invest in initiatives that help our team feel supported, valued and empowered in the workplace.

Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and creating a positive working environment where their wellbeing comes first remains a key priority.

Congratulations to Debbie at Lynnhurst Hotel , who recently celebrated an incredible 10 years with us! 💛

Starting her journey in Housekeeping at The Redhurst Hotel , Debbie progressed through Reception roles across both venues before becoming Head Receptionist at Lynnhurst - a wonderful example of how dedication and embracing new opportunities can help build a career in hospitality.

Debbie loves Lynnhurst’s Victorian character, beautiful gardens and, above all, the fantastic team and friendships she’s made along the way.

Congratulations to Craig who was recently promoted to Head Chef at Brisbane House Hotel 👏

He’s consistently been in the Manorview Mindset – caring for others, bringing his best and helping move forward.

We caught up with Craig to find out more about his career journey, his new role and what he enjoys most about being part of the Manorview team.

💬 What has your career journey looked like?
“I started as the Sous Chef and I am now the Head Chef.”

💬 What do you enjoy about working at Manorview?
“Manorview provides me with a good work-life balance, which is important after working for other big companies over the past 15 years.”

💬 What’s the best part of your role?
“Training my other chefs to be able to run the kitchen when I’m not there, such as on my days off or holidays.”

💬 What makes Manorview a great place to develop?
“Manorview is the perfect place for people to develop and try new things, including supporting the homeless and other charities.”

We’re delighted to give Craig this opportunity to progress his hospitality career and wish him all the best in his new role.

August's Manorview Mindest Rewards winner was Michelle at The Tarbet Hotel

Every month our team nominate people who they feel have demonstrated the Manorview Mindset - that means taking actions in line with our values of caring for others, bringing your best and always moving forward.

Michelle has been recognised for regularly going above and beyond. When a guest arrived at The Tarbet Hotel after the airport lost her luggage, Michelle didn’t hesitate to help. At the end of a long shift, she took the guests to the supermarket to pick up toiletries and clothes, waited for them and drove them back to the hotel - all in her own time and with genuine care.

Michelle went above and beyond to make sure the guests felt comfortable and could enjoy their holiday. A brilliant example of the Manorview Mindset in action! 👏🤍
