The love and empathy we’ve received has meant a lot to us, especially during such a difficult time. 💛 A Heartfelt Thank You from Liana’s Tea Shop 💛

After 8 wonderful years, we are sadly having to say goodbye. This isn’t a decision we ever wanted to make, but due to changes beyond our control, Liana’s Tea Shop has been forced to close.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every customer who walked through our doors — especially those who came back time and time again for our signature homemade bread pudding and shared a cuppa with us, those who joined us for afternoon tea, and those who braved the cold winter days to support us. Your kindness, loyalty, and encouragement have meant more to us than we can ever put into words.

We have also been incredibly lucky to work alongside such amazing people — from our incredible staff past and present, to the wonderful teams we’ve met along the way, especially the gardeners based at Langtons. Being part of this community has truly been a privilege.

During some very difficult times, especially throughout COVID, we were proud to be a safe and welcoming space, and we will forever cherish the connections we’ve made. Being named a finalist for Best Hospitality in the Small Business Awards 2025 was a reminder of just how special your support has been.

Thank you for the memories, the conversations, and the friendships. We will miss you all so very much.

I forgot to post the photo of the Sticky Toffee Pudding & Custard yesterday.
It's a hard one to judge on what was the most popular as everyone enjoyed them all, but I think the Jam Roly Poly may have just taken the title of "Favourite British Pudding🇬🇧 at Liana's"
As this was so popular these could be making an appearance on our menu.

I am back after a week of rest and Liana's is open.
I look forward to seeing all our lovely customers again.
I have made a few changes to the menu for October & November and I have now added Hot Pastry Slices served with a salad garnish. At the moment there is Cheese & Onion or Chicken & Mushroom but this will change daily.
Our lovely soups are back along with some delicious flavoured Hot Chocolates 🍰🇬🇧
