Vintage crockery hire After the success of our stall at Horbury Street Fair, Rich and Fancy opened their coffee shop at 13 Queen Street in Horbury in October 2015 and expanded into No 11 in 2024. Richard creates home made, delicious cakes, hearty soups, healthy salads, celebration cakes, pies, afternoon teas and tasty hot and cold sandwiches made with beautiful bread from local suppliers. Our afternoon and cream teas are a real favourite and we always make them extra special for events such as Easter, Christmas and Valentine's Day. Tables can be reserved on request and the coffee shop can be opened specially on a Sunday for special occasions. Our supper clubs on a Saturday evening are also a real hit with 3 delicious courses using the best fish, meat and vegetables. We have lots of other events like our regular psychic supper, floristry, beauty, art and well being evenings. If you'd like to hire our coffee shop for an event please contact us. Rich and Fancy Cupcakes also produce delicious hand made cupcakes for all occasions. Richard a chef for 30 years, with his wife Lou are passionate about their small, family business, producing food that is both delicious and has the wow factor. We are committed to supporting our business friends in the local town of Horbury by using their produce to make our food. We use the butcher's, greengrocers, bakers, supermarket and some of the other shops to create our wonderful food. We believe that Horbury is a very special and unique town and we love independents. We employ wonderful staff who are all trained in food hygiene and safety and customer service so you experience the very best welcome. We price our food fairly and you are welcome to bring a bottle to our establishment and we can provide the glass hire for a voluntary contribution of just £1.50. We accept card or cash payments.

What an amazing group of artists we had this evening in our 'inspired by Hockney' workshop. We studied Hockney's use of colour, mark making and technique and then painted our own landscape pictures in his style.

The results are stunning.

Good morning everyone

I am so looking forward to my art club starting on Monday evening and over the moon it is fully booked. I have been busy gathering the resources and everything is included in the price...all materials and refreshments. Thank you to our friends who shared the workshop too.

If you have a favourite photo local or memorable to you, please bring it along. A4 colour would be best or you are welcome to share mine. Here's a few I printed yesterday....oh and my sculpture has been fired.. ceramics workshops will be coming soon....

My art club runs the first Monday of every month with a different theme/focus each time.

John and Nick were visiting local schools with Darling Reads. We bet the children had a great time. We will be popping in to pick up a copy !

We had an absolutely fabulous afternoom at Primrose Hall for the Horbury and Ossett Phoenix Rotary fundraising event. The hall was full and the choir was lovely. People enjoyed sparkly fizz, tea and coffee and our afternoon teas.

Thank you to the rotary club for inviting us back and well done on raising funds for defibrillators in the area. Also thank you to Adam Rasburn for helping Rich & the team with the teas. Much appreciated.
