One of today’s stars has to be our slow-cooked beef brisket… 🤤

Marinated in red w**e and freshly picked homegrown rosemary, then cooked low and slow until beautifully tender. Served with all the proper Sunday trimmings, lashings of gravy and plenty of Yorkshire comfort. ❤️

We’re delighted to be hosting a special Coast to Coast Reunion & Recruitment Evening here at the Downe Arms Inn, Castleton, supporting the fantastic work of Marie Curie. 💛🌼

Some of our very own regulars are involved in this brilliant challenge, cycling Coast to Coast from Grange-over-Sands to Scarborough, and we’d love to help them drum up plenty of support — and maybe even find a few new riders for 2027!

Another fantastic week here at the Downe Arms, and we just want to say a huge thank you to all the amazing guests who’ve visited us. Whether you’ve popped in for a pint, joined us for something to eat or stayed the night, it’s been lovely having you.
