Before the gossip mongers start the rumours.
allow me to state the facts.
We had a 5 guys from the travelling community in tonight,they have been here on several occasions over the years,not very often but known to us.Never have they been a problem, maybe loud but they tone down when they are asked.A customer who will no longer frequenting this establishment antagonised them,which led to a very brief altercation.
And dispersal by my fantastic staff.
if anyone would like to discuss this please message me privately before,posting inaccurate and erroneous facts,I am great friends with the police Licencing officer a relationship we’ve had for over 30 years and I will be speaking to him personally to explain the relevant events.

Its Friday which means the weekend starts today at the Saracen's Head.At 6pm we have the original Free pizza giveaway every Friday And Saturday throughout the year.We shall have all you live sport all weekend including the Hungarian Formula one Grand Prix.
On Saturday evening we have live music with the versatile "Andy Robb"sing covers across the years and many genres.
There shall be no Quiz night this month due to our in house chef being on holiday,also our kitchen will be closed all week.
why not pop in and enjoy our happy hours and the least expensive pub prices in the area.

The Saracen’s Head & The Black Boy
Shall be showing the England vs Argentina game on Wednesday, however we will only be allowing entry to regulars and people who are known to us.
As I’ve said from day one pubs/clubs are not about 4 weeks every two years (don’t forget the euros) they are about the kind and valued patronage,we are privileged to be given 52 weeks a year.
should England negotiate this tricky fixture,our opening hours will change on Sunday,from our usual hours to the following.
12pm-4pm last orders 3.50pm
7pm- 00.00am.
Those of you looking forward to “Bricket Wood Fest”on Sunday,do not worry “THE GROOVE?RATS” will perform our season finale on the the 13th September,this was planned well in advance of the World Cup

We shall have door security and experienced staff monitoring entry to both establishments,at both the semi final and should we get there,the final

Hi all,just to avoid any confusion I can confirm that the Old Fox,The Black Boy and the Saracen’s Head WILL NOT be opening for the forthcoming England game,this is out of respect to our neighbours whom are kind enough to support us 52 weeks a year.
We hope you enjoy the match and hopefully we shall see you all for the 1/4 finals where normal service shall be resumed.

Its Friday and also the start of the bank holiday at the Saracen's Head at 6pm every Friday and Saturday throughout the year its the Original Free pizza giveaway.Throughout the Weekend we shall have all your live sport including Watford vs Coventry City at 12.30pm all the important premier league run in games, who will be champions (Come on you Gunners),who will be relegated ( i know who i want) Also coverage of the Formula One Miami Grand Prix.On Saturday evening we are so pleased to be helping my good friend raise money for our local charity The Hospice of St francis,"One jump beyond" will be hosting a charity night from 8pm with a bit of music there will be some free food We at the saracen's will be donating 50p for every draught pint of beer sold,Mr Barry Deakin (EAGLES CARS) will be donating £2 for every one that has his picture printed on the top of a pint of guinness and only £1 if its his wife (not sure what thats all about) LOL.
