Updates have been a bit short as we had a busy week/weekend setting up and serving all our visitors! Great weekend was had by all even if it was a bit too hot. Massive thank you to all of the volunteers over the weekend who worked so hard to keep it all running smoothly. The Beer On The Wye Festival is now all packed away ready for next year 😊

Beer On The Wye Festival set up going well. New orientation of the tent seems to have created more space for outside seating. 4 days until opening

Beer On The Wye Festival volunteers, check your inboxes, i have sent out your job roles. I have tried to be fair with the shifts, due to this year having reduced staffing levels to play with. We had an overwhelming response for set up, so if you have been taken off that, dont be disheartened for next year 😊 Any issues just reply to the email and I will sort as soon as I can.

Beer On The Wye Festival volunteer forms have now closed.

We’re pleased to be able to tell you that Beer on the Wye is back this year and planning is well underway. We are now recruiting for volunteers to help out at this year’s festival which is taking place on the 10th–12th July 2026.

We always have such a great volunteer team. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm is amazing and is reflected in the feedback we receive from the public who attend over the weekend. We’re hoping that you might be able to help out again this year.

The latest online application form can be found here: https://forms.gle/BKabX4URzXFDR44q6 and as most of you know, it’s very straight forward to fill in and should only take a few minutes.

A great day out was had yesterday with a few of the volunteers from the Beer on the Wye.
The main objective was to present The Alma with their CAMRA Pub of the year 2025 certificate and Yew Tree Peterstow with their Cider pub of the year 2025 certificate. Along with sampling a few of their beers and ciders. We also stopped at The Crown Inn, Lea and ended in The Wheatsheaf Fromes Hill for an awesome carvery. Thank you to all pubs for accommodating 30 people all at once. Was a brilliant day out
