Rest in peace, Nima Dai, and to every soul lost in the Broad Peak avalanche in Pakistan. 🕊️
Long before the world knew him as Nims Dai, he was simply Nima Dai to us—our Head Boy, a friend, and someone we all looked up to. I had the privilege of knowing him throughout our school days. Even then, he stood out—sporty, fearless, fiercely determined, and someone who would do whatever it took to achieve his dreams. Those qualities never changed.
He lived life with extraordinary courage and passion, and in the end, he left this world doing what he loved most. Though his journey ended far too soon, his legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone he inspired.
My deepest condolences go to his family, friends, loved ones, and everyone mourning this unimaginable loss. I also extend my heartfelt sympathies to the families and friends of all those who tragically lost their lives in the Broad Peak avalanche in Pakistan. May you all find strength, comfort, and peace during this incredibly difficult time.
Gone far too soon, Nima Dai. I hope you’ve found peace and are now reunited with your mum and dad.
