Love a good coffee! Never waste my time (or caffeine allowance) on a bad one 😬

We spent the day at this week and throughly enjoyed wandering the gardens, hunting for moles (grandchild not me 🤣) and we finished up the day in the Orangery restaurant for a top notch lunch.

We sat in the gardens with a beautiful view and felt very refined ~ you can go in there without a house ticket which is a real treat.

Here’s to more lovely days out, good coffees, and little sweet treats 🥰🥰

I never expected all this when I took early retirement and chased my dream of running own small business.

Now I live in a world of vintage treasures, floral patterns and heart shaped sugar cubes running my very own traditional afternoon tea room.

People come to visit my little tearoom in Lincolnshire from all over the world, when I only ever had my sights on a hopefully popular spot for locals.

Now I have 2 bed and breakfast rooms in our 400 year old english farm house, when in the early days that seemed an impossible stretch.

This year we tried selling plants for the first time, mostly on a whim because I loved the look of the supplier and some new wicker pots we found - and now that has become an exciting new part of the clarke’s farm offering.

I started a small gift shop at my tea guests request, and now that has turned into a vast offering of treasures with its own successful online shop.

Follow along on this special journey - it’s been a wild ride so far and I’d love to share it with you

Running a small business and also accidentally becoming a full time content creator is quite the work load!!

Luckily we found Martha fairly early on and her account and the club she runs have been transformative for our social media game.

Ad | PR Invite 🫶🏻 We have a BIG week coming up at Clarke’s farm, and I am going to attempt to vlog it again for the YouTubes ! (I already did episode 1 of the “Clarke’s Farm Diaries” a few weeks ago if you missed it!)

So this week was a bit more relaxed in anticipation of that, and the lovely folks at very kindly invited us for brunch ~ and it didn’t disappoint 🤍 Wonderful staff, a beautiful setting (and so handy right opposite the train station!), great coffee and yummy food.

Highly recommend a visit ☺️

So wish us luck with our mammoth week ahead!!! I’ll link the old vlog in our stories if you want to catch up!! 🥰🤭 Thanks for the help with the dress shopping too by the way - we choose with the majority so thats good to know!!
