When they immediately want to take pictures 🥰

Running a small business in your retirement, and serving people what feels like a tiny part of your personality can feel a bit daunting …. but when people treat my afternoon tea stands like an it girl and take sooo many pictures; I remember I’ve found my people right here!!

Love the thought of my little bakes sat in your camera roll on my pretty plates!!!

Somehow this is my job now - surrounded by beautiful vintage (and not so vintage!) china, baking cakes, enjoying coffees...

Who knew we made so many funny faces when we talk!!!??

Some of the festive miniature goodies we picked up from this week - very excited to use these in our Christmas dollhouse displays!!

We had a bunch of birthday celebrations in the tearoom today - one of which was a 1st birthday that asked for our decoration package.

The adults enjoyed afternoon tea (and the birthday girl had a one too!) and the maileg toys wore their party hats for the occasion.

How wonderful to play a small part in such a special day ☺️

Get the beautiful tea parties in before they start demanding k pop demon hunters themes!!! 😂😂

Love a good coffee! Never waste my time (or caffeine allowance) on a bad one 😬

We spent the day at this week and throughly enjoyed wandering the gardens, hunting for moles (grandchild not me 🤣) and we finished up the day in the Orangery restaurant for a top notch lunch.

We sat in the gardens with a beautiful view and felt very refined ~ you can go in there without a house ticket which is a real treat.

Here’s to more lovely days out, good coffees, and little sweet treats 🥰🥰
