This week, we're here for our community in a whole new way.
Introducing Coffee Mate Community Cards
Sometimes, all we need is a warm drink and someone who'll listen. Our new Community Cards give friends and volunteers access to local coffee shops and cafés across the area - a safe space to connect, talk, and simply be heard.
How it works:
Present your Community Card at any of our partner establishments for a complimentary hot drink and pastry, plus 30-60 minutes of meaningful conversation with someone who cares.
We'll also provide resource packs to help you find the right support moving forward.
We're also launching:
* Brand new drop-in days
* Workshops
* Advice packs
Coffee Mate is here to listen, connect, and support - but we're not a crisis service.

Why is 07.25 on the card?
- It’s the date Coffee mate started its mission.
What are the long numbers on the card?
- Each number will identify our volunteers, so we know where each card is used and who by.
⚠️ These cards are not credit cards and they can not be used in cash machines or as other forms of payment. They are simply a I’d card that allows volunteers and friends peace of mind each time they use a partnered business supporting Coffee mate.
No awkward conversations. No unnecessary uncomfortable moments. Ordering drinks like everyone else, connecting through conversation and communication like everyone else within the establishment.
