This lovely market, has at its core the main aim to connect a rural community with local growers and producers. The Hartest Institute is a lovely venue in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Suffolk, and the Market attracts visitors from the many surrounding villages as well as from Sudbury, Long Melford and Bury St Edmunds. Our lovely market cafe serves sausage and bacon rolls, cof

fee, tea and homemade cakes. There is a small car park to the rear of the Institute, or street parking by the Green.

Also with us will be author Lynda Brignall who returns with her two books about Hedgehogs - "When I Come Out in the Day"...

Also with us will be author Lynda Brignall who returns with her two books about Hedgehogs - "When I Come Out in the Day" and "When I Go Out at Night"
The books are illustrated by Megan Last who used to live locally in Hartest.
Lynda will also have some educational information and hopefully some mugs and coasters, which together with the books are all being sold to raise much needed funds for the Suffolk Hedgehog Hospital.
We look forward to seeing you there - the market runs from 10am til 12.30pm at the Institute on the Green - free parking at the rear of the building. Lovely refreshments available too, tea, coffee, homemade cakes, bacon and sausage rolls.

Joining us this Saturday 1st August at our next market for the first time will be Sam and Amy from Appleacre Farm in Hundon. They have their own organic market garden and flower farm growing, salad, including lovely heritage tomatoes, vegetables, fruit and seasonal flowers.
There will be beautiful bunches of their flowers available at our market too arranged by Amy.
