But we think that’s a pretty good excuse to retreat somewhere warm and cosy. ❤️

Our Snug at The White Hart is the perfect spot to escape the drizzle, settle in, order something delicious, grab a drink and watch the weather do its thing from the comfort of the pub.

Our bar is filled with spirits from brilliant local producers, made by people who put an incredible amount of passion, care and craftsmanship into what they do.

We’ve been lucky enough to visit some of them, hear their stories and see first-hand what goes into every bottle, which makes us even prouder to pour them for you. ❤️

A little look inside Dartmoor Wh**ky Distillery... 🥃✨

What a beautiful place, filled with so much history, character and craftsmanship.

It was such a pleasure to be given a guided tour and to learn more about the story behind Dartmoor Wh**ky, from where it all began to the incredible passion, dedication and care that goes into every bottle they produce.

There’s something really special about seeing first-hand how the products we proudly serve behind our bar are made, and meeting the people and hearing the stories behind them makes it even better.

We feel incredibly lucky to have such brilliant producers here in Devon and to be able to support them at The White Hart. ❤️

We’re heading to Devon’s Harvest Festival! 🌾👨‍🍳

Next weekend, Dan and Jon will be swapping The White Hart kitchen for the farm as they head to Devon’s Harvest Festival at Shillingford Organics.

The day is all about celebrating the very best of Devon’s food and farming community, with local producers, a farmers’ market, live music, family activities and cooking demonstrations from chefs across the county, something we’re incredibly excited to be part of.

Dan and Jon will be cooking Hanger Steak with Goat Curd & Chimichurri, showcasing some of the fantastic seasonal produce we’re so lucky to have here in Devon. 🥩🌿

You can catch them cooking from 10:30am – 11:30am, and we'd love to see some familiar faces in the crowd!

We’re all getting ready for a very exciting Bank Holiday weekend as the Fantastical Magic Festival comes to Dartington, and we can’t wait to welcome you!

A little heads-up for anyone planning their Sunday with us: we won’t be serving our classic Sunday roasts this week, as our team will be busy catering for the festival. But don’t worry, there’ll still be plenty of delicious food to choose from!
