A stomp on the beach, garlic mushrooms piled on sourdough, a proper roast with all the trimmings, a glass of w**e (or two), Espresso Martinis and Pete on the guitar.

No rushing. Just big plates, full glasses and a long, lazy Sunday by the beach.

Yes, we’ve used this photo before… but it’s genuinely the last time we managed to get (most) of this lot in one place at the same time 😬 Tonight we’re attempting it again!

After one wonderfully busy, long summer, we think these guys have more than earned a night of being looked after 💙

We’re OPEN as usual today until 3pm, then we’re closing the doors tonight and taking the LULA crew out for a very well-deserved staff night.

They’ve spent all summer looking after everyone else, so tonight it’s their turn.

We’ll be back tomorrow morning for breakfast and all your weekend LULA vibes, possibly fuelled by strong coffee and a couple of paracetamol 🤕☕️

Tuesday nights are sounding pretty good at LULA… 🎤💙

Open Mic Night with Pete Hamilton, from 6.30pm tomorrow night and every Tuesday.

Last week we had everything from poetry to Foo Fighters… and that’s exactly how we like it.

Sing. Play. Read something. Bring your guitar. Bring your mates. Get up on your own or get a few of you involved. First timer or seasoned performer, everyone’s welcome.

And if you fancy getting up and giving it a go, we’ll get you a drink on the house. 🍺🍷

No auditions. No judgement. Just a mic, a room with lovely people and absolutely no idea what’s coming next.

School’s back. We’ve got the important stuff covered. 💙

Straight from school, wellies on, stomp on the beach, then into LULA for a ridiculously loaded hot chocolate.

And here’s our little Monday gift to you parents…

Every school day between 4–5.30pm, if they eat all their tea, we’ll give them a FREE ice cream. 🍦

You don’t cook. They eat their tea. They get ice cream. Everyone’s winning.

What a summer. 💙 But now we’re ready for the other kind of LULA Sunday…

Candles lit, log burners on and nowhere else you need to be. Settle in for a long Sunday lunch, a game of Scrabble and quite possibly a sneaky second vino.

The brisket is getting prepped, the Yorkshires are ready to rise and the lobsters will be coming in on the first boat tomorrow morning. 🦞
