☀️ Important Notice – Friday 26th June ☀️

Due to the extreme temperatures and a high volume of pre-booked catering orders, Blake's Café will be closed on Friday.

Today we experienced an issue with one of our refrigerators not maintaining the required temperature, meaning stock had to be removed. Whilst we do have other fridges available, the remaining capacity is needed for the safe storage of ingredients and completed orders for our catering commitments on both Friday and Saturday.

In addition, preparing our bookings requires our ovens and other catering equipment to be in constant use throughout the day. Running our normal café service alongside this would mean additional hobs, fryers and cooking equipment operating for several hours, significantly increasing the temperature in the kitchen during an already exceptional heatwave.

The welfare of our team and maintaining the highest food safety standards must come first.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will be back open as normal on Saturday and look forward to seeing you then.
