👑 School starters, this one’s for you! 👑

From tomorrow ‘till Friday we’ll have some special superhero and princess cupcakes available to celebrate all the little ones starting school! 🧁
And because it’s a pretty big day, every school starter can enjoy a FREE babycino with their cupcake.

We honestly can’t believe how grown up so many of our little Bunns’ regulars are now. It feels like only yesterday they were coming in for their first babycinos and treats, and tomorrow they’re starting school! 🥹

A little Thursday update…

Tomorrow will be our last Thursday open until 7pm. From next week, we’ll be closing at our usual time on Thursdays at 4pm.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us on a Thursday evening 💛 We’ve loved having you through the doors, but unfortunately the evening trade just hasn’t been consistent enough for us to keep those later hours going.

That said, we’re absolutely delighted with how well supported we are in general, and we’re so grateful for every visit, coffee, cake and chat. 🫶

And don’t worry… when those cosy nights roll back around, we’ll be bringing you some one-off evening events to look forward to. ✨

So, if you fancy one last Thursday evening coffee with us, tomorrow’s your last chance to catch us until 7pm! 🤎

Some exciting news for gluten free friends! 🤎

From tomorrow, we’re expanding our gluten-free range even further… and we’re really excited to be adding gluten-free cinnamon buns! 🥰

Just like our gluten-free scones, we keep them frozen to help keep them fresh, so if you fancy one, just ask!

We’ve been looking forward to adding these, and we hope you love them as much as we do! 🤎

A little reminder of how much reviews matter to small businesses 😭

Recently we’ve seen lots of independent businesses we follow posting about receiving fake 1-star reviews from the same account. It was sad to see, and now we’ve received it too.

For businesses with thousands of reviews, one unfair rating doesn’t make much difference. For small businesses like ours, it can have a big impact on our overall rating.

If you’ve had a good experience with a small business, please take a minute to leave them a review. It really does make a difference.

And if a business ever gets something wrong, giving them the chance to put it right before leaving a review is always appreciated. Most small businesses genuinely care and want to make things right.

End of term is almost here!

If you’re looking for a simple way to say thank you, we have coffee & cake gift vouchers available, along with Thank you teacher cupcakes and beautiful bunches of flowers from Flowers on Thursday and Friday this week!

We’ll also be opening earlier at 8am on Thursday and Friday, making it easy to pick something up on the school run.

Also, just an excuse for a coffee on the commute. 8am could become a more regular this if this a hit 🙌🏼

We love being part of our community, and we're always happy to help where we can. If you're one of our lovely regulars passing by and need the loo, or you've got a little one having an emergency, please don't ever worry about popping in.

Lately though, we've noticed more and more people using our toilets without visiting the café, and even bringing in picnics to eat at our indoor tables. Unfortunately, our loos are increasingly being left in a state that our team then has to deal with, and our seating is there for customers who have chosen to support our small business.

We know we're conveniently located next to the park, and especially with the summer holidays just around the corner, it's tempting to pop in. But please remember that we're just a small independent business, not a public toilet or picnic area. Every table, every coffee and every cake purchased helps us keep our doors open.

So, we'd kindly ask that our toilets and seating are reserved for customers. We hope you understand, and we really appreciate everyone who chooses to support us by eating and drinking with us.

Thank you for helping us keep our café a welcoming place for everyone. ❤️☕
