Last night we visited Dine Bangla which is now under new management. Mixed reviews from the lads ended up with a score of 3.8.

Armthorpe boasts three great curry restaurants, and tonight we revisited an old favourite: Shimla Doncaster

It had been quite some time since our last visit, but it was certainly worth the wait. Super-quick service, premium food and a great atmosphere all combined to earn Shimla an impressive 4.3 on our leaderboard.

One thing to note if you’re planning a visit: it’s BYOB, so make sure you take your own alcohol along.

Last night we visited Cinnamon in Scunthorpe. While it wasn’t our first visit to the restaurant, it was our first time dining there under the new name.

The food was of a high standard throughout. Most of our group opted for the mixed kebab starter, which was well presented and very enjoyable. There was also a good variety of main courses on offer, with the lamb dishes proving particularly popular and receiving positive feedback from those who chose them.

There is some room for improvement in terms of the service and the poppadoms, but overall we had an enjoyable experience. A solid 4 out of 5 from us.
