A fond (temporary!) farewell to Wellington International Horse Trials after an incredible 4 days.
A super busy event alongside the Wellington team, riders, supporters, organisers, old friends, new friends. The list of visitors who came to see us felt endless! Thank you so much! The spontaneous feedback on our coffee, toasties, cakes, even the trailer design was very much appreciated. Thereās a lot of work behind the scenes in the run-up to events of this duration and footfall. Itās great to hear your positivity which makes our presence at any the event extra special.
As itās not been mentioned recentlyā¦on the sweet treats, the Biscoff Blondie was still the most popular cake by far. From the savoury menu it seems you canāt beat a cheese & ham toastie!
On the āweather menuā we had heavy rain, no rain, sunshine, showers, strong wind gusts, and a bit of everything at times which can be challenging with disposable cups and dispensing coffee! Mother Nature always wins with a south westerly wind straight through the serving hatch!
I was delighted to be able to try out our new custom made waterproof cover for our trailer extension for the first time which made the trading space warmer and easier to work in! Also lovely to see people popping their head through the āportholeā zip-down window to say hello.
Big thank you to Rosetta Equestrian for the media footage as we didnāt have a moment to leave the trailer. If you need any new breeches or base layers I can highly recommend their products. Also to Dan Silent Pool Distillery who kept me topped up with elderflower tonic water for the duration!
Finally once again to Anna Miller Dressage without who I wouldnāt had made it through the full 4 days! Great job!
