Welcome to the Geek Community Hub

What is MEGAbytes?

What is it currently?
This is entirely up to you, The Geek Community!

At the moment MEGAbytes is a collection of social media channels getting ready to take over the world! (Not really)
The Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages are live for social interaction and gaming news. A YouTube channel will show off the venue and offers once we’re open, in the meantime it may show concepts and ideas of what is coming.

All of these are ready to interact with so please get following and tag MEGAbytes with all your gaming likes, cosplays and collections!

What will it be?
A café. A bar. An arcade.
MEGAbytes will be many things but most importantly it will be the community hub for all things geek.
Back in 2015 a surge of gaming bars took off and offered Glasgow new places for the geek community to interact, socialise and enjoy. There were places for competitive gaming, places for cosplayers, places for casual fun and all of them did a great service to the entire community.
There are still places today that offer a lot to the community but MEGAbytes is going to be the place to carry on the idea that anyone can play, and everyone is invited!

Café style relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of drinks?
You bet!
Internet access on PCs with printing?
Yeah, maybe!
Board games, Card games, Tabletop games, books, comics & manga?
Yup!
Gaming area including the latest consoles and retro favourites?
Retro, of course! Latest, we’ll see.
Dedicated Arcade and Pinball area?
Definitely!
Cosplay crafting area including green screen access and changing rooms?
That's the plan!
Tournaments, Live Music, Indie developer meetings, Conventions and more!
All of it! Sure! Let's do it!

MEGAbytes Glasgow will be everything and more!
