rs and their properties. Our philosophy is therefore centred around strong onsite presence and close communication with all of our clients in order to form relationships with each of them. We achieve this by maintaining a select portfolio of properties, allowing us to dedicate the necessary time to provide a premium service. Team Training 💡

This week's training session saw us welcome Andrew Moore from Usave Power. Andrew gave the team a valuable insight into the work Usave carries out in partnership with Taylor & Martin, from managing changes of tenancy and smart meter rollouts to helping streamline utility data, billing access and system integration. Their support plays an important role in ensuring our utility management processes are as efficient as possible, benefiting both our team and our clients.

We also heard from our very own Hayley, who gave a fantastic demonstration on how she uses AI tools to enhance reporting processes. It was a great example of how embracing new technology can help us work smarter and continue improving the service we provide.

As always, the session also provided an opportunity for the team to give shout-outs to colleagues who have demonstrated exceptional teamwork and gone above and beyond to support one another. Recognising these moments is a huge part of our culture and a reminder that our success is built on collaboration and living our core values every day. 🏆

📍 New Appointment - The Moorings, Reddingmuirhead, Stirlingshire 📍

We’re delighted to announce our appointment on a grounds only basis as Property Factor for The Moorings, Reddingmuirhead, a beautiful new development by Carmichael Homes Scotland 🌳

This appointment means we’ll be responsible for the management and maintenance of the shared outdoor spaces within the development, ensuring they are well cared for, safe and welcoming for residents from day one.

Grounds only developments may not have internal communal areas to manage, but the external spaces are just as important. Shared landscaping requires proactive management to ensure developments continue to look and function at their very best.

We’re proud to work with Carmichael Homes on another development, caring for these shared spaces and helping to create an environment homeowners can enjoy and take pride in for years to come.

Friday Training 💡

At Taylor & Martin continuous learning and recognising great work go hand in hand, and today’s Friday training session was a great example of both.

A big thank you to Stephen Kelly from Under One Roof Scotland for joining us and providing an insightful overview of the fantastic work they do to support homeowners across Scotland. Under One Roof provides free, impartial advice and resources to help homeowners navigate property maintenance, repairs and the challenges of managing shared buildings. It was incredibly valuable for our team to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges homeowners face and the support available to them.

We also heard from our New Business Director, David Jones who shared an update on various internal process improvements we are introducing to make things more efficient and effective, helping us continue to deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.

As part of the session, our team also took the opportunity to recognise colleagues who have been outstanding examples of Taylor & Martin's core values. It was fantastic to celebrate those individuals who consistently demonstrate the behaviours, commitment and teamwork that help drive our business forward.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve recently been appointed as for Blairhall Comrie Castle and Bellfield Court, Strathmiglo.

These are grounds only appointments, which means we’ll be looking after the shared outdoor spaces within each development, ensuring they are well cared for, well maintained and continue to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all homeowners.

While grounds only factoring differs from full development management, these appointments are every bit as important. The condition of shared external spaces plays a huge role in the overall feel of a development, helping to protect its appearance, support long term value and create surroundings that residents can take pride in.

This type of service is often needed within developments where there are no internal communal areas to manage, but where shared landscaped areas and other external responsibilities still require professional oversight and ongoing care.

At Taylor & Martin we know that thoughtful, proactive management of these spaces makes a real difference. Every development we work with receives the same level of attention, care and commitment, and we’re looking forward to supporting the homeowners at both Blairhall Comrie Castle and Bellfield Court.

As a proud supporter of SAMH, Mental Health Awareness Week is a great opportunity to reflect on this year’s theme, Take Action.

Taking action does not always have to be something big. Sometimes it is the simple things that can make the biggest difference:

💚Getting outside for some fresh air
💚Opening up about how you’re feeling
