👻 What happens here after dark?

Around Frodsham, stories include:

🏥 A WWI military hospital - our hotel was reportedly converted from a roller-skating rink into an auxiliary military hospital during the First World War.

🔥 The Earl who died at Frodsham Castle - in 1654, the Earl Rivers died at Frodsham Castle. Only hours later, the castle was destroyed by fire with his body still inside. The circumstances have fuelled local stories ever since.

And that's just part of Frodsham's history…

Now, you can explore Forest Hills after dark and take part in a paranormal investigation of your own.

📅 7th November
🕘 9:00pm - 2:00am
🎟️ £40 per ticket
🥤 Refreshments included

Will you be brave enough to investigate Forest Hills through the night?

We’re aware of the concerns raised regarding the proposed fireworks display and the horses and other animals in the surrounding area.

The property owners have horses themselves and are fully aware of the precautions that need to be taken. We have already started reaching out to local stable owners and are in discussions with the fire service and council to ensure everything is properly considered.

We’d also like to thank the stable owners who have reached out to us through social media. Finding and contacting all of the local stables isn’t always straightforward, so we really appreciate those who have taken the time to get in touch and share their concerns and advice.

If we are satisfied that the fireworks can go ahead safely and responsibly, they will form part of the event. If not, they won’t.

We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to raise their concerns and we will provide an update once further discussions have taken place.
