It really annoys me these days when you go into the fridge to pull out some veg only to find it's gone over. It wouldn't be so bad but it's not even a week old and it's not cheap either. Oh well so it won't be broccoli and Stilton for lunch, but the stems ok, so a bit of spinach for colour you'll never know the difference! At least there will be bread..... at least it will sustain me for lunch tomorrow at Artisan Market St Andrews come in and see us.

MARKET TRADERS - DATES FOR YOUR DIARY 2027

Fife Makers and Artists have now added a further 4 markets to their calendar for 2027 at the Corn Exchange in Cupar.

Application forms for all 8 markets will go live on 1st January 2027 with a closing date of 31st January.

The WAIT is over. They're back big and bold and as large as life the Artisan Market St Andrews is returning to St. Andrews Saturday 3rd of October at the Town Hall. Jams Jellies & Other Things will be there along with other amazing makers and artists. Pop along to see us from 10am.

The weather is dreich but it's warm and cosy inside at Rosyth Community Market this morning. There's lots going on free activities for the little folks. Hot food is provided by Cake (nice soup....) and cake from Memories of Molly - Homemade Cakes & Bakes. Here till 2.30 😘

Day off today. So its back in the kitchen processing produce from the greenhouse.

Tomatoes will be made into a ragu along with homegrown courgettes, aubergines, peppers and garlic. (Onions failed so they're shop bought). Perfect for those lazy teas when life gets in the way.....

Chillies and peppers will be ground down into a paste for Sambal Oelek (although I'm using a processor not vessel and mortar. Life's too complicated as it is...) as to how hot it will be🤷‍♀️ we'll find out at the end.... lol
