An amazing mix of regulars this week made for some truly laugh out loud moments. Michael’s selfish pub night preventing a Pavarotti experience and Jon’s little known ballet expertise were particular highlights! I wonder where else in Bath there’s raucous laughter at 8am between strangers who became coffee friends 😁

Some days are tough. None more so than a day with a funeral. Hopefully our free Perk Up coffee made our customers day a little better in that moment.

We love hearing from our “work from home” customers that they’ve come for coffee to escape their screen. That was one of the key ideas behind Perk Up Coffee… a place to step away from the computer, even if only for 10 minutes.

Goodbye to Ryan & Shultz, who’ve been working on site locally but are off back to a site in Bristol. Always great fun chatting with them.

Good luck to Milford in your fitness instructor assessment next week 💪

Friday was a perfect Perk Up day, the way I dreamt it could be. A steady flow of characters, all with a story to tell. Lots of families enjoying the open space. Dogs whizzing around our cart. Cyclists stopping to refuel. Runners rounding off their runs with a treat.
Thanks for a brilliant week. We’re off now for a short break and back on Thursday 8th Oct, recharged and ready with lots of Autumn goodies, and no doubt a few more layers of clothing on!

See you back on the river on Thursday 8th Oct.

Summer is back!

We’re getting sunshine and 21 degrees this Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at Perk Up Coffee. Come and see our pop up coffee cart on the river path between Lidl & Windsor Bridge from 8-2.

We’ll have lots of homemade bakes for you. Check out tomorrow’s post for this week’s star bakes.

New to Bath?

Meet Perk Up Coffee…your riverside pop up coffee cart, right on the path between Lidl and Windsor Bridge at Kelson’s Field.

We’re here Wed–Fri, 8am–2pm, serving barista coffee and hot chocolates with homemade bakes at student friendly prices.

Our Flat white is £3.20, Americano £2.60 and bakes from £1.40

This weeks bakes include our honeycomb topped tiffin and our miso and double chocolate cookies

Come and say hi. Bring your course mates and house mates.

Today had everything!

From heavy petting on the grass (all afternoon!) to stories of broken bones and emergency surgery.

Customers snoozed in the sunshine, took a pit stop on their charity bike ride, tried to make first aid training funny and all the while enjoyed what turned out to be a beautiful day.

You donated full loyalty cards so we could give free coffee to a new mum who’s not getting much sleep and to a birthday boy who had a little accident on his bike!

Thanks for a fun day. Let’s do it again on Thursday & Friday!
