Hi everyone! 👋💕

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately! Due to the recent hot weather, the shed has been closed, but I’ve been using this time to plan, reset and get excited about what’s next for the business.

As many of you know, I took the leap to do this full time, and I’m more determined than ever to make it a success. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey so far—it truly means the world. ❤️

I’m so excited to announce that the shed will be reopening very soon (date to be confirmed! 🎉).

I always want to be honest with you all. Before we closed, things had become very quiet, which meant the business was unfortunately losing money rather than breaking even. It was disappointing, but it’s only made me more motivated to come back stronger.

To begin with, the menu will be slightly smaller while I get back into the swing of things, but you’ll still find plenty of your favourite bakes. And of course, custom orders will continue as normal, so if you have a celebration, gift or sweet treat in mind, just pop me a message! 🧁

I’m really looking forward to welcoming you all back and sharing some exciting new bakes over the coming weeks. If you could like, share and spread the word that we’re reopening, it would mean so much to a small local business like mine.

A little honest update from me ❤️

As many of you know, I made the decision not to return to my full-time job so that I could spend more time at home with my little girl. It’s a decision I don’t regret for a second, but if I’m honest, it does come with the worry and stress of not having a guaranteed income each month.

I’ve been going back and forth all week about what to do with the shed this weekend. Last weekend was simply too hot to open safely and comfortably, and with the weather looking very similar again this weekend, I’ve decided not to open the shed as normal.

However, to hopefully bring in a little income this weekend, I’ll be offering Mystery Bags instead! 🧁🍪🍰

✨ £10 per bag
✨ 4 freshly baked items in each bag
✨ Freshly baked to order
✨ Collection at pre-arranged times as the items can’t be left in the shed in the heat
✨ Very limited number available

☀️ Due to the extreme heat this weekend, The Bake Box will be closed.

Unfortunately, the high temperatures cause issues with product quality and lead to unnecessary wastage, so we’ve made the difficult decision not to open this weekend.

We’re hoping for cooler weather and plan to be back open again next weekend. Thank you for your understanding and continued support – stay safe and keep cool! 🧁💛

Another quiet weekend in the shed again thanks to the heat! 🥵☀️
