RVH was Dannys chosen charity as they were very helpful and supportive when his dad got a liver transplant in 2020, that saved his life.

The Everest Base Camp hike is a challenging trek through the Himalayas in Nepal, taking trekkers through remote mountain villages, suspension bridges, forests and spectacular high-altitude landscapes.

The trek usually takes around 12–14 days and reaches Everest Base Camp at approximately 17,598 feet (5,364 metres) above sea level. Trekkers have to cope with steep climbs, long walking days, cold temperatures and the effects of high altitude.

The journey covers roughly 80 miles (130 km) there and back, with altitude increasing gradually to allow the body to acclimatise.

For many people, reaching Base Camp is a once-in-a-lifetime achievement — and every step is worth it for the incredible views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan mountains. 🏔️🥾❤️
