If you’re looking for somewhere a little different from the usual café, we’d love to welcome you to Redwood Bistro.

We’re an independent, family-run bistro serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with full table service in a relaxed setting. Our menu is built around fresh, locally sourced ingredients, from free-range meats supplied by our family butcher to artisan breads and seasonal produce.

Our Head Chef, Marcio Alves, trained and worked alongside Michel Roux Jr., bringing classic techniques and plenty of creativity to everything from our handmade ravioli and signature burgers to fresh seafood, steaks, homemade desserts and our ever-changing specials.

Whether you’re catching up with friends over brunch, celebrating a special occasion or simply fancy a great coffee and breakfast, we pride ourselves on friendly service and food made with care.

One of Redwood Bistro’s Signature Dishes…

Our Croque Monsieur is a true French bistro classic, inspired by the timeless recipes and techniques that have shaped Chef Marcio’s career.

Having trained and worked alongside Michel Roux, Chef Marcio has created a Croque Monsieur that’s rich, indulgent and full of authentic flavour.

Layers of premium ham, Gruyère cheese and our homemade béchamel sauce, toasted between golden white bloomer bread, then finished with crispy bacon, fresh thyme, Parmesan, spring onions and fresh pea shoots.

It’s one of our most-loved dishes and a favourite with our regular guests for good reason.

If you haven’t tried it yet, this weekend is the perfect time.

We also sell Croque Madame and Croque Forestier. Our Croque Forestier is made using wild mushrooms and thyme and is rich with unami flavours.

Have you tried our toasties before?

Our ham and cheese toastie is made using cheddar cheese and hand carved Wiltshire ham for the ultimate taste. You can choose to have it on bloomer bread or sourdough. With salad or fries or both or by itself!

Did you know all our food is made to order, meaning you can customise your toastie to suit your preferences . Why not add some spring onions or tomatoes to it?
