Maillard reaction explained.

We know we’ve mentioned it once or twice before, but there is a reason our steak tastes so good (and no it’s not just due to the brilliant scotch beef we use)- It’s down to a little bit of science and always cooking over coals for the best flavour.

A ‘little’ steak pictured from a recent trip to Provence that Harris cooked up on the bbq for friends, strictly business sampling some beautiful French produce - it did not disappoint.
