I was about to shout from the rooftops that bookings are open, but it looks like some sneaky elves have already snagged spots?! 🧐 Those guys must have a direct line to the North Pole!
This year, in December, we're decking the halls on: Sun 6th, Sun 13th, Sun 20th, Mon 21st. First bookings at 16:45 - don't be late!
Our team of merry makers pour their hearts into this event, and it shows! We're talkin' 100% festive energy, full character immersion, and hospitality that'll make you feel like you're on the nice list. Get the deets and book your spot here: https://www.balernoinn.co.uk/christmas-3/

Happy Sunday 😘
We have 3 bookable tables left for midday lunch, thereafter the first gaps appear around 16:00.
Don't miss out, I just tasted the roast gravy and may have sampled a Yorkie (QC is important 😂) and they were both next level.

Tonight we say goodbye and thanks to El.

She is leaving us after 6 years of awesomeness to pursue her post-grad in law. We have no doubt that she will achieve another top degree and go on to have a successful, fulfilling career making a real difference to the causes that matter most to her.

El has been an absolute trooper at Balerno Inn. She led by example—whether she was running the bar, taking charge of the floor, or mentoring and training the next generation of servers, she never gave anything less than 100%. Great cocktails, fantastic service, and smiling customers and colleagues told a consistent story.

She clocks off tonight with our deep appreciation, our thanks, and our friendship for life.

Cheers, El! 🍀❤️🍻

All round awesome member of our team Eloise leaves us this week on Friday😭
She's behind her bar as usual for the last few shifts. Please feel free to drop in say farewell, maybe have a final few of her gorgeous cocktails and sassy put downs 😂
Some staff are simply irreplaceable, El is one of those.
Myself, Leigh and the whole team feel privileged to have worked with her and to have become her friend❤️

After a long, mostly dry and mostly busy summer things today caught us by surprise.
The C-BOMB was dropped in Balerno Inn and other than head chef Andy we were all caught rather aghast

It was a shock for sure , but once we gathered ourselves we reconciled it wasn't as bad as it first seemed, in fact, for the most part it made us grin.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Balerno Inn this Christmas. HoHoHo, it’s nearly that time of year where we use the C-word gleefully and abundantly! Click the link to read all about it, but remember Heid chef Andy’s slow roast ultra moist turkey has become something of a legend, words alo...
